In the case of inkless fingerprinting, the ease of a no mess, no clean up, and no hassle way of performing a previously messy task such as fingerprinting, is more than welcome. The secret to this nifty way of cleaning up an age-old process is in the science of the ink itself. Using the same ink technology found in most ink-jet and other modern printers (mildly electrostatic inks), putting a seal of approval on many a legal document is no longer the less-than-tidy affair it once was.
