As an advocate for people living with cancer, Lance hoped to share his turbulence training review with others and also raise funds to help with research, educational and health programs. Among it’s many accomplishments and with the help of supporters, the Lance Armstrong Foundation has contributed over $9.6 million in grants toward cancer survivorship and testicular cancer research. In addition, more than $1.7 million has been invested in the development of five cancer survivorship centers across America. With so much of the Lance Armstrong Foundation geared toward education, nearly $1.6 million has been invested in survivorship education and outreach initiatives with more than 60 national and regional community partners.
