Progress with the Kids

We’re trying to get the kids together for practice again this weekend. Finally got all of the missing gear ordered using Jack’s Eastbay coupons, so they ought to be excited when that stuff gets here.

The kids are wonderful, but man the parents can be a pain. Sometimes I wonder why I do this stuff year after year. When you’re winning, they complain about their kid’s play time and when you’re losing they complain about EVERYTHING. The phone just rings off the hook.

Not to mention the trouble of getting everyone’s schedule to work for practices when we have to postpone because of weather.

Anyway, I’m really happy with the way the team is coming along, and I think the kids are building some skills and having some fun if nothing else.
