Thanksgiving Dessert

Pie, pie, glorious pie!  What could be a more perfect ending to a scrumptious Thanksgiving meal than a thick slice of pumpkin pie topped with a huge mound of  whipping cream?  How about a steaming hot, just-out-of-the-oven slice of Dutch apple pie topped with a heaping scoop of vanilla ice cream and warm caramel sauce and chopped pecans?  Avid pie makers, especially around holiday times, love to grab their favorite Thanksgiving Receipes and whip up the most delicious pies that fill the pie-tasters with memories of yesteryear.  Life just doesn’t get any better than that right?  Pie simply has to be the perfect ending to a perfect holiday meal.
