Protecting Your Home and Property

When you own a huge investment like a house and property, you want to be sure you have it fully protected from disaster.  If there were a fire, flood or other disaster, would your home insurance cover you for the damages caused?  When my husband and I were choosing insurance for our house we looked at the fine print.  We live in an area where it is possible that floods from hurricanes could cause damage to our home.  We are more on a borderline are for these disasters, but we also are well aware that it could happen.  We were lucky enough to get coverage for everything including our content if we experience any disaster.
