I treated myself to a black Labrador puppy about 8 months ago and I have every intention of turning this animal into a hunting dog. We’ve been training together day in and day out and I must say, the Lab is a very quick learner and as smart as a whip. We are steady training partners and have helped each other grow tremendously. Well, now I am at the point in training where I am wondering if dog training collars are a tool I will need to better our training time together. Dog training collars are so controversial, I am torn. I want to bring out the best of this animal, I can see the potential – its very exciting and don’t want to short change the animal’s potential.
