Erythrodermic psoriasisThere are no blood tests to confirm psoriasis and it is diagnosed generally based on the appearance on the skin and can sometimes be mistaken for acne. On a few rare occasions, the skin has to be scraped for diagnosis. This process is not as harsh as it sounds and involves a simple scrape of an effected area to be sent away for various tests.
