Colic Cures

I was told long ago that there really were no colic cures.  My mom gave me that information long ago.  It is difficult to hear the crying, but I tried wrapping a soft blanket around the baby and holding it snuggly, not tightly.  Perhaps it reminds them of the womb. That is just my theory, not  to be considered one of the colic cures. Of course there is the old standby, the rocking chair. That not only seems to help the baby, the the mom or dad as well. Singing quietly to the baby, more like a crooning, also may be of some help.
