Mistake

I knew I was right when I saw a local company’s advertising campaign make a mistake with its newest billboards. They were trying to sell the newest in broadband access and classified all the different types of high speed internet connections. One of the branches of their services that they said was high speed was their dial up service. When I looked up the definition of high speed and broadband services, it is the defining line between dial up and the other connections. To say that dial up is part of the broadband system is a mistake and they can not sell it as so.

In the last two years, the Nintendo Wii has become the most popular gaming console. Many people who own the Wii have learned that they can download Wii games online. But how do you know the site you are downloading games from is a good site to choose. A good Wii download website should provide you with the option to download the old classic games as well as the latest releases. One of the things that makes Wii popular is that you can play all your old favorites along with current games. Choose a download site with the best and most varied selection. Make sure you only hand over your credit card details to a site you trust.

Bring in the experts to backup your systems

I recently interviewed for a position in an advertising firm and was given a tour after the interview. I was extremely surprised when they took me by the (very cold) IT room and saw that it was filled with countless backup tapes from their system. I asked (politely of course) if they were planning on going to tapeless backup any time soon since it was one of the best and least bulky way of backing up data. The interviewer told me that they were planning on it eventually, but their IT person had quit and this was all they knew how to do for now.

What’s Next?

Many people are probably wondering what is next for the killer system PS2.  Now the life span is not over for this system considering sony is still planning on filling the library with a good amount of games for the next year.  While many of these games might not be for the hardcore gamers, I think they are targeting a market of more casual gamers to take advantage of the low price and competeing with the Wii essentially.  The thing is it has such a collection of great games I feel that the system almost sells itself with no need to market very much.

PAIN Trophies revealed

Idol Minds has finally released a comprehensive list of Trophies that you can expect to be enabled on the day that the Amusement Park expansion pack releases. As many of you may already be aware, this expansion pack is set for release on September 4. Unfortunately the list of Trophies that will be made available will only be 100% attainable so long as you have downloaded the extra characters. While this practice may be something that seems a tad unfair to players who are unable to purchase downloadable content, it is positive in the fact that it does add further Trophies to obtain says PS3 News.

Deleting Cookies

Now that you may know the answer to the question, “How do websites use cookies,” you may still be suspicious of them, or even a bit panicky about the hundreds and thousands of cookies that could be on your hard drive. You decide you want to block cookies from now on. However, are you stuck with the ones you already have? No, you can quickly and easily delete cookies on your system - throw them to the birds, as it were. If you use Internet Explorer, all you have to do is begin with the Tools menu, and with a few clicks, all your cookies will be eaten up.

Life Begins at 70?

My neighbor is about 75 years old and occasionally needs a walker to get around. She bakes cookies and gives homemade Christmas presents.

I stopped by one day and found her happily clicking away on a new laptop.

Stunned, I asked what she was up to. “Article marketing“, she answered, and went on the explain she had begun a home-based business selling her crafts and it was doing quite well.

In order to promote her business she had bought a computer, taught herself marketing techniques, and was busily making a profit.

She explained she’d have time for coffee in a few hours but that I should call first, because she was “up to her ears”.

I’m lucky to get dressed and drive to my banking job every day. She’s my hero.

Cure Registry Issues in an Afternoon

If you’ve been fighting with what seems like a registry related issue for a while don’t struggle any longer. After reading a Regcure review I think I’ve found a way to finally boost the performance of my computer. Reg Cure is a registry repair program that scans and looks for errors in your PC’s system registry. This file structure is where all your software and hard are related to one another. If you’re having troubles with things running slow, often times this is where it originates.

I downloaded a free scan offered from their website and ran it. It found over 100 different errors on my machine so I decided to give it a test run and see what the program could do to improve my computers performance. After registering the software and letting it repair everything it found total time invested was about an hour. My machine started noticeably faster, and the programs and errors that seemed to be causing me troubles were gone.

Do You Need A Registry Cleaner?

If your computer is slowing down and spitting out lots of error messages then there might be several things wrong with it, but the best place to start is one of the most difficult to deal with sections of Windows; the registry.  The registry acts as the central nervous system of your computer, storing all the important preference and settings files that are vital to the proper performance of your PC.

The best way to clean up the registry is to use a Windows XP registry cleaner.  These programs make the process of cleaning up the registry extremely easy and uncomplicated.  It’s NOT recommended that you attempt to fix the registry on your own by hand.  This could lead to even bigger problems.  Just use a program like RegCure to help you out.
