The Grand National really is my favourite event of the year. And why not? It is so much fun, and has a bit of everything for every person on this planet. It has style, laughter, champagne and bubbles, frivolity. But it also has a more serious side - the excitement and serious nature of the race itself, with the thundering hooves and cries of the crowds shouting grand national tips at the tops of their voices. All my energy is saved up for the Grand National every year, and I’m already looking forward to the next one  to come in 2009.
