When I was a young kid my mother told me that she was in the army before I was born. I never would have guessed it, but soon learned some things about my mom that helped me understand why she is the way she is. She was always talking about being on time, being neat, and always cleaning up after yourself. While those are regular mom type things to say, she told me the importance of being on time in the army and why she is the way she is. I think that is one of the best things that I learned from her.

Some Differences In LPN Nursing And RN Nursing
August 18th, 2009 — Reference
When I first began my nursing career after I graduated from my bachelor’s nursing program, I found I learned more from the LPNs on the unit than the RNs who felt that I was not deserving of their assistance. How weird was that? What I learned was that lpn nursing had the same basic information we RNs had, only we RNs had advanced teaching in critical thinking or problem solving, and more exposure to leadership content. When I graduated, RNs were the only ones allowed to give some select medications, and were the only ones able to start IV;s and administer intravenous medications and blood.
Would Like to Get More Prepared for the Patent Bar Exam
August 18th, 2009 — Reference
I just finished law school. I am eager to get started with my career as a patent attorney. I did well in school and I studied hard. However, I would still like to get more prepared for the patent bar exam. Before I take the exam I want to make sure that I know everything that I need to know. I do not want to have to take it again. I want to take it once and get it right. I have been looking online for a course to help me to get better prepared before I sign up to take the exam.
I Come From a Family of Mormons
August 18th, 2009 — Reference
Growing up, I never knew anything except the teachings of my mother and father. I have ten siblings and we were home schooled by my mother. From the age of four, I began to learn about the mormon doctrine. You could say that I am well versed in this particular religion. Anyone who happens to have any questions about the religion itself or the beliefs of the mormans could definitely ask me and get an answer. I am proud of the way that I was raised and also of my religious background. I plan on marrying a man who is also from the same faith.
A kind man

I recently read a story about Joseph Smith that really touched me. I like to read anything that tells more about his personality. He loved children and one day there was a child who got stuck in the mud and was bawling. He dried their tears, pulled them out, and then he cleaned off their little shoes with his handkerchief. I could picture any of my kids in that situation, but most likely would have pulled them out and said, “Ah, you’re fine!” He sounds like he was a real softy. I think losing children of his own probably caused him to appreciate moments like that and take the time to be patient and loving.
Why I will be looking at State of New Jersey death records
August 5th, 2009 — Reference
On Sunday I was watching the basketballs game when my son came into the living room. He really didn’t seem to have much to say and he sat down across the room from me and stared at the television. During one of the commercial breaks he spoke up and asked me ” dad when and where did grandpa die”. I was a little taken aback by the question because quite honestly I didn’t know myself. I told my son that that was a good question and that I would look at some State of New Jersey death records. After all I believe that the state cadet died in.
One of my favorites

One of my favorite parts of the Book of Mormon is when the people are waiting for the signs that Christ has been born. While some waited near His home, people across the ocean were also waiting for those signs and believed in a Messiah that would be born. Finally there were the clear signs that came, but it was interesting what a short time it took for wickedness to abound again. Such cycles are shown repeatedly in the Book of Mormon. If one society is righteous, it is no guarantee that they will always be so. People become complacent and forget that they are prosperous because they are blessed by the Lord. Then they become prideful.
Thinking About Checking Out Reverse Records before We Hire a Babysitter
August 1st, 2009 — Reference
My husband and I need a new babysitter. We are a bit hesitant to hire just anyone. We have been interviewing people and we think that we have a few potentials. But I have been thinking about checking out Reverse Records before we hire anyone. This is the person that we are going to entrust our kids with. We want to make sure that they have a clean record. I hate to be a skeptic but I also need to be a realist, especially when it comes to my kids. I think I am going to look into a bit more.
$540 sneakers? Not in my lifetime!
July 31st, 2009 — Reference
By now most have heard the one about Michelle Obama wearing her $540 sneakers to a homeless function, and not realizing how very wrong that appeared to be.
Lately we have been curious as to how much of our money is michelle obama spending on her wardrobe while the economy is circling the drain.
There seems to be a Robin Hood mentality going on here because there is an awful lot of taking away going on. If the majority falls into the needy category in this country, then the haves will probably need to give more, to balance it out. This seems to be the Obama strategy towards the economy today. It is also a socialist philosophy and sounds pretty darned democratic as well.
A bunk bed for the cat?
July 26th, 2009 — Reference
OK, this is just too bizarre. I thought when my husband and I decided to buy the kids a white wood bunk bed that the kids would be over joyed and spend hours in their room happily playing and amusing themselves. Well it just goes to show how contrary children can be because once the bed was set up they were excited for about and hour and since then they’ve hardly said a word about it. However not all is lost. It turns out the cat absolutely adores it and enjoys nothing more than sleeping on the top bunk. She can be found there both day and night.
Tutoring Middle School Children Was A Wonderful Experience
July 23rd, 2009 — Reference
Middle school students are those who have stepped out of childhood and are standing on the threshold of adolescence. Tutoring them was a wonderful experience and it gave me a sense of fulfilment. I worked as a private tutor with a tutoring agency for a span of 2 years and was assigned the work of teaching middle school children. All students whom I took classes for were full of questions and their interest in learning subjects glowed brightly in their wide eyes. I felt happy being in the midst of them. Undoubtedly they were interested in learning too. Now I work as a teacher in a public school but I still cherish those memories of teaching middle school children.
