Paying My Tax Duty.

I need to pay off my stamp duty that is on my house before they take it from me. It has been backing up so I need to take care of it soon. I was talking to my mother about it the other day and she had to ask me what stamp duty UK was after I told her about it. I had to laugh at myself for not thinking that she wouldn’t know what that meant because she is back in the States. I sometimes take that for granted and I feel bad when that happens. Of course she wouldn’t know that stamp duty means property tax. She laughed and said that she was used to it.
