My Parents Have No Retirement

I am a child of a baby boomer. I am the last child in a family of four and the only one with a good job. My parents are both of retirement age but have absolutely no money to live on in retirement. I am not saying this to complain but instead to warn individuals to plan early. Even if they had built up a small amount they could invest in some retirement income funds that would allow them to have a little money coming in above their social security. I am grateful to learn this lesson early in life so as not to make the same mistakes.
