I work in a physician’s office. I worked in the office when only one physician was there. Over the years, several other doctors joined the practice. More physicians means more patients. More patients means more work for the medical secretaries. Over the years, more medical secretaries were added to help with the additional workload. Most of the new employees knew how to use medical software. That’s because we hired graduates from a local business college. The graduates learned to become medical secretaries, and they took courses in medical software applications.
