Keeping Things Safe

It is really important to follow all of the protocols for food safety for produce. If you don’t properly wash produce or if you cut it on the same cutting board or with the same knife you use for meat, you could end up contaminating the produce with bacteria or other organisms that would give your restaurant patrons food poisoning. That would be really bad for your restaurant business, and possibly for your health too if you happen to eat anything that hasn’t been prepared properly. You also want to make sure if possible that the farm where your produce is grown takes care to prevent contamination of the produce as well.
