Finally, I have convinced my wife to let me makeover our basement. It is a full size basement and we have always used it for storage. Her idea was to use it as a play area for our children and I wanted a place for myself and my buddies to chill out during the ball games and races. She has agreed with some reluctance and I can’t wait to get moving on it. Two summers ago, I purchased a couple of custom neon signs and those will be the first things to go on the walls. I saved enough funds to buy a large screen television and as soon as possible, I will be moving in a pool table and dart board. The furniture aspect works out too because the deal was that I could have the basement, but she gets new living room furniture. That makes the old furniture all mine. I will wait a bit before I press for the mini fridge and microwave. This basement makeover is going to be really great.
