I want to get the kids up to sped with some bible stories for children. But the stories I have in book form are far too old for them, too complex and detailed. All they need are to listen to the bare facts presented in a simple, clear way for young kids to understand.
The problem these days with all the loud noises, flashing lights, and other televisual distractions, I can;t seem to get them to sit and concentrate for long enough to really absorb the stories. Or maybe I’m being too hard on them and they ARE listening… who knows. Getting this vital information into such young mind is important, I think. Perhaps I’ll just keep working at it and eventually it will sink in.
