Just When I thought I’d seen everything, something new caught my eye…boats radio controlled. I’ve seen those remote controlled cars and trucks, even some airplanes, but I hadn’t seen these boats before!If you ask me, they seem to be a lot more fun than the airplanes. I know for sure that I would crash one of those airplanes, and that could be expensive. Boats radio controlled, on the other hand, seem to be ’safer’. I’m sure that there are disasters on the lake as well, but I think the odds are more in your favor in the water.The group of guys I was watching down at the lake today seemed to be having a blast - racing each other, and kicking up some pretty cool rooster tails. I was surprised at the size of these boats as well. When they were brought to shore, I was amazed…they didn’t look that big out on the lake. Some of these boats were about 3 feet long…not your bathtub toy! Now I have something new to ponder…should I try my hand with these boats? I’m thinking, why not…I would like to join in on the fun and kick back at the lake with a boat of my own. Now I just have to convince my wife!
