A friend of mine just decided to move overseas, to the India area. She had done a program of clinical data management tutorials, and is now working in that field. She is in India helping to keep track of the progress that her company is making in the medical health of the people who live there. I really miss her being around, because we spent every weekend together. I am sad that she is gone, but I am very happy that she is trying to make a difference in the health and happiness of people all over the world. I am very proud of her.

The Grand National really is my favourite event of the year. And why not? It is so much fun, and has a bit of everything for every person on this planet. It has style, laughter, champagne and bubbles, frivolity. But it also has a more serious side - the excitement and serious nature of the race itself, with the thundering hooves and cries of the crowds shouting grand national tips at the tops of their voices.
